Responsibilities:
- taking part in the transition process from Turkey to Poland in AR, AP & GL areas,
- handling general ledger activities such as accruals, provisions, revaluations,
- performing month-end closing activities,
- checking the correctness of invoices and their correction,
- reconciliation of account balances,
- issuing customer and intercompany invoices and credit notes,
- making vendor payments and collecting distributor direct debiting,
- making journal entries for accruals, prepayments, FA depreciation and fixed and variable costs,
- preparing financial statements and monthly submissions in reporting software,
- maintaining and reconciling Fixed Assets schedules,
- preparing balance sheet reconciliations and inventory reconciliations,
- preparing various ad hoc analyses and reports,
- developing and implementing process improvements and automation post-transition.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Finance and Accounting or Economy would be an asset,
- knowledge of GL, AP and AR processes,
- fluency in English (at least B2) and Turkish (at least B2),
- professional qualifications (CIMA/ACCA/MBA/PMI) will be a plus,
- strong analytical skills and problem-solving attitude.
