Our Information Technology Generalist - Practice Support team focuses on managing the design and implementation of technology infrastructure within PwC, developing and enhancing internal applications, and providing technology tools that help create a competitive advantage for PwC to drive strategic business growth.
Area of responsibility
- Member of L2 application support team responsible for resolving complex technical incidents and requests related to Workday integrations
- Analyze and identify if root cause is data, configuration, or technical issue
- Perform impact analysis, recommend solution, implement changes for issues detected in Workday custom integrations and identify possible performance improvements
- Recognize patterns/ re-occurrence of incidents, and propose technical and process improvements to minimize volume/ magnitude of impact
- Participate in ticket escalation meetings with L3 support to discuss investigation and solution strategies
- Collaborate effectively with Workday support specialists across modules or business areas within the greater team, and raise tickets to appropriate group when work is out of scope of Workday Technical Team's supported area or application
Candidate profile
- At least 2 year of experience with supporting or developing Workday integrations
- Required experience in the following Workday integration technologies: Workday connectors, Document Transformation & EIB, Workday API integration in both SOAP and REST, Workday Studio integration, XSLT, Workday Reports and calculated fields, XML, JSON
- Experience in the following Workday integration technologies would be an asset: Payroll (PECI), BIRT report design
- Prior experience working with ServiceNow ticketing tool, SOAP UI, Postman (preferable)
- Ability to reasonably estimate the time for tasks and then meet deadlines set by those estimates; ability to quickly and effectively prioritize multiple requests
- Fluent English, excellent communication and analytical skills
