Responsibilities:

• processing of customer inquiries on application-specific regulatory topics concerning legal requirements for primary food packaging, but also hygiene products, packaging for cosmetic or medical products customers,
• evaluation of the conformity of our products with the relevant legislation, preparation and issuance of corresponding statements for our customers (mainly includes legislation in the regions EU, NA, Mercosur, China),
• follow up of the legislation in food contact materials as well as in other areas like chemicals (for e.g. substance of concern, etc), cosmetics and pharmaceuticals,
• interpretation and evaluation of compliance of our products with customer-specific requirements,
• contact and professional exchange with the regulatory team as well as with customers and external testing institutes,
• represent Company in national associations.

Requirements:

• Master Degree in a science discipline – preferably Chemistry,
• advanced knowledge of spoken and written French - must have,
• good knowledge of English,
• experience in packaging structures used for food and industrial applications. Nice to have experience in printing technology,
• knowledge of the main European legislation regarding food contact materials,
• readiness to travel (primarily within the EU) up to a few times a year,
• strong communication and time management skills.
