Requirements

• fluent French (minimum C1 level),
• good command of English, enabling effective communication in an international environment,
• very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookup functions and reporting,
• strong analytical skills and attention to detail,
• excellent communication and problem-solving skills,
• ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and manage time effectively,
• previous experience in finance and accounting, particularly in OTC, credit control or master data, would be an advantage,
• a university degree would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• reviewing and approving customer credit limits and assessing ongoing credit risk exposure,
• analysing customers' creditworthiness and financial standing,
• negotiating alternative forms of security with customers, such as bank guarantees and letters of credit, to mitigate accounts receivable risks,
• negotiating credit limits with credit insurance providers to reduce financial exposure,
• making decisions on order releases based on credit risk assessments, outstanding balances and available credit information,
• monitoring credit risks and bad debt exposure in line with company policies and accounting standards,
• submitting claims to credit insurers or activating alternative security measures,
• performing daily credit control activities, ensuring accuracy and timely execution,
• resolving customer queries and addressing operational issues,
• preparing reports and financial analyses as required by the supervisor.
