Job description:
The Senior Team Manager works closely with the Contracting & Procurement (CP) Function and the Businesses to manage the end-to-end data processes of a performance unit; to deliver top quartile data quality and processes which enable contract operationalization in the procure-to-pay process; and to lead and develop a community of teams to achieve and deliver operational excellence."
Dependent on the business unit to which the individual is assigned to.
This is a key position on a complex global change journey, with considerable impact on operational excellence across CP, Finance and the Businesses across the Group.

- Data and process management within a performance unit
- 20+ operations staff in the SBOs
This position requires working closely with staff across different levels in CP, Businesses and Finance
• Assure flawless controls, process execution and relevant standards including data quality
• Ensure operations of the team meet the business requirements and targets on a continuous basis, including providing timely and accurate exception reporting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement for sustainable corrective actions together with the business units
• Support process improvement to ensure delivery of targeted CI benefits for area of operation, including sponsorship/leading of CI projects
• Lead stakeholder engagements with CP to ensure performance, root cause analysis, exceptions, future demand planning and prioritisation. Be the key leader and holding accountability for the data performance of a CP/business unit
• Coach Team Managers to attract, inspire, coach their team. Overall create a high performing and engaged community.
• Play an overall senior leadership role within the SBO centre where required across different CP Data operational teams.
• Single point of operational accountability to CP/performance unit
Requirements:
o Minimum 8-10+ years Business/Finance/Commerce/IT/Engineering skill pool experience
o Experiences in Master Reference Data, SAP modules, or demonstrated understanding of data management principles are desirable
o Experience and proficiency in MS Office applications like MS Excel, MS Access, MS PowerPoint, etc.
o Experience in managing a community is highly desirable with ability to attract, inspire, coach and develop a high performing and engaged team
o Good project management experience and knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodology
o Demonstrated evidence in stakeholder management and operational performance management
o Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, and able to interact, influence and motivate others.
o Ability to multi-task, prioritise and ensure delivery of priorities, work without close supervision, work through others to deliver results.
o Ability to deal effectively with complexity and detail
o Self starter and ability to manage diverse cultural/ethnic sensitivities.
o Virtual working experience highly desirable.
o Ability to collaborate and work well in a team
