The Engineering Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for leading a variety of engineering activities including the design, acquisition and deployment of hardware, software and network infrastructure in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead efforts to ensure quality standards are being met within existing and planned framework.

Responsibilities:

• Strong JEE Application Server and Web Server knowledge, experience with at least two of following products: IBM WebSphere ND/Liberty, Oracle WebLogic, IBM HTTP Server, Oracle HTTP Server
• Proficiency in product engineering and administration, application development and design patterns
• Solid experience of working closely with Middleware engineers, application architects, and development teams
• In-depth understanding of JEE application security and SSL certificates
• Strong background in dealing with application development teams and 3rd party vendors
• Unix/Linux Operating System backgroup required
• Proficiency in scripting and task automation, especially Python
• Previous experience with authentication using Siteminder (SSO) is a plus
• Hand-on experience with Chef, Ansible, Docker
• Experience with Amazon AWS and Google Cloud
• Proficiency in debugging, analytical, problem solving, and excellent communication skills
• Experience with Git and SVN usage
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle
• Experience with automation tools for Middleware and application Quality Assurance
• Proficiency with SQL queries and database technologies such as Oracle
• Experience with MongoDB
• Experience developing REST APIs
• Education: BS in computer science/engineering (or equivalent experience) preferred.

Qualifications:

• 6-10 years of relevant experience in an Engineering role
• Experience working in Financial Services or a large complex and/or global environment
• Project Management experience
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Comprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking activities and related reporting to identify best practices
• Demonstrated analytic/diagnostic skills
• Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams
• Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative
• Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
• Proven track record of operational process change and improvement
