Reporting Assistant
Work location: Shell Energy Campus, Czerwone Maki 85

Job description:

Role in located in our External Relations team and you will support the delivery of Shell reports including Shell’s Sustainability Report. The Sustainability Report is an annual account of the key sustainability challenges we face and the many ways we are responding. It details our social, safety and environmental performance. You may be involved in tasks across the report, including:

  • Executing the country chair data gathering questionnaire – an essential exercise that verifies that Shell businesses around the world are complying with human rights requirements such as avoiding child and forced labour etc.

  • Checking facts and collating audit trails

  • Working with sustainability page owners and central shell.com team to ensure all relevant web pages are up-to-date in time for the launch.

  • Organising the Global Reporting Initiative content index – checking which topics are included in the Sustainability Report and elsewhere.

  • Mapping external reporting requirements against the Sustainability Report topics, to make sure key requirements are included.

  • Supporting the creation of the sustainability report schedule and online content management system updates

  • Supporting infographic production and photographic contributions – for example checking numbers and designs, as well as liaising with the photographic team and focal points to ensure we have all the necessary permissions for images to be published in the report.

  • With Finance, organising payments when necessary.

  • Working with internal communications to promote the report to internal audiences.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role you need to have:

  • Excellent written English is essential for success in this role - min. C1

  • Brand development and management experience would be beneficial

  • Business partnering

  • Excel and power point knowledge on intermediate level

  • Good analytical skills

  • Internal/External communications experience would be beneficial

  • Project management skills
