Purpose & Accountabilities:

To lead the local Delivery Assurance Team in order to achieve operational excellence in the day-to-day execution of Order Generation and Fulfilment, Dispatching, and Administration in the most cost effective manner.

Ensure that daily road transport operations (delivering and administrating) meet all Group standards at lowest possible cost to service level

Support initiatives of the data integration management and global IT initiatives for the secondary transport process e.g. implementation of Streamline (GSAP, Cross and VMI) and ensure the right use of software applications

Ensure proper staffing through attraction, coaching and development of people, covering aspects like D & I, Competences, Performance Management and Recognition & Reward, supported by OtD manager.

Order To Delivery BeNeLux represents: 3 countries: The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxemburg, we plan around 300 deliveries daily on 65 trucks to 850 customers delivering from 10 terminals. We speak: Dutch, French, and German with English as business language.

Trading & Supply manages the end-to-end fuels supply chain for Shell, including the final delivery to our end customers (Retail sites and B2B Customers). This final leg of the fuels supply chain is managed within the Order to Delivery (OtD) team, where the fuels deliveries are planned.
OtD encompasses the planning for tomorrow's deliveries (in the Scheduling Team); managing the within-day delivery challenges, including direct liaison with our customers (the Distribution Scheduling Support Service (DSSS) team); and then ensuring that our back-office systems reflect what really happened (The Scheduling Admin Team).
The OtD team works closely with the Class Of Business (Retail; Commercial Fuels; etc) teams, along with the Offer to Cash (OtC) community, to ensure that plans and actions are aligned to flawless delivery of our customer offers.
The OtD team takes the lead in the optimisation of the road transport activity, ensuring that the delivery plans make use of our assets in the optimal way, resulting in the lowest delivery cost. The OtD team works closely with the local Road Transport team in both medium term planning and also the day to day execution of the plan.
