Project Manager

The EMEA AML PMO Team provides the delivery of operational projects in the area of regional AML and cooperates closely with all stakeholders from Compliance, Technology, FIU and Business to deliver on project objectives for regulatory, business and process improvement initiatives. Project Manager within the PMO is responsible for managing all assigned projects in AML portfolio from initiation to closure.

- Manage project inter-dependencies to ensure successful delivery
- Challenge the status quo, display initiative and innovation
- Take proactive actions targeted at minimizing implementation risk
- Actively cooperate with regional and global partners in completion of the project
- Ensure that all necessary project documentation is maintained and all necessary approvals for the project are obtained
- Act as a main point of contact regarding projects
Requirements:
- 3 years plus experience in successfully managing complex program/projects through the full life-cycle, from conception through roll-out and on-going support in a large or medium size organization
- Experience of managing virtual teams across time zones
- Relationship management skills with the ability to handle conflict and negotiations
- Ability to persuades and influences others
- Very strong analytical skills
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Experience and ease of interfacing with Senior Management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Excellent work ethics
- Formal Project Management qualification or Consulting background would be an asset
- Prior experience in banking or financial industry would be an asset
