At the McKinsey EMEA Shared Service Center in Poznan we remotely support colleagues from other parts of Europe, the Middle East and Africa in areas such as Finance and Reporting, Human Resources, Visual Communication, Business Operations, and Assistant Services. You will join our Shared Services Center in Poznan as part of our People Service Line department that serves internal clients across the EMEA Region. You will work closely together with other functions, including recruiting, professional development, finance, global process leads.

Tasks:

  • orchestrating onboarding for new Mckinsey colleagues in multiple locations in Europe
  • collecting documents & creating personal files according to the local labor code and data protection regulations
  • initiating and monitor background checks
  • assisting New Hires and answering their questions
  • coordinating onboarding session enrollments
  • maintaining firm members’ profiles and ensuring data accuracy in firm’s HR systems
  • supporting visa application process with issuing confirmations of employment, guarantee and invitation letters
  • administrating firm members’ benefits
  • conducting personnel analysis
  • providing additional administrative support where needed
  • working closely together with other functions, including recruiting, professional development, finance, global process leads
  • participating in the new HR system implementation project

Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in HR or related field
  • 1-2 years of administrative experience in a corporate or professional services environment is preferred
  • Strong verbal and written language skills in English (C1 - CEFR* or equivalent)
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Distinct quality mindset and attention to detail
  • Strong process focus and drive for results
  • Ability to work and stay focused under pressure, manage urgent tasks against challenging timelines and shifting priorities
  • Ability to build strong and trustworthy relationships with others and to effectively contribute to a highly collaborative work environment
  • Willingness to learn and share knowledge and experience across regional and organizational boundaries
  • Open mindset towards change and engagement for continuous improvement
