Desired Skills & Experience
- Strong SAP skills in modules FI and AA
- 3+ yrs. of experience in General Ledger
- In-deep knowledge of US GAAP
- German at good or very good level
- English at very good level
- Excellent user knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel
- Good problem-solving skills and cooperation attitude
- Being able to work within tight operational deadlines and priorities
- High degree of proactiveness and self-reliance
- Being experienced in working in a worldwide acting affiliated group
Responsibilities
- Is responsible for accounting operations in GL area according to US GAAP
- Reconciliates balance accounts
- Prepares and posts journal entries
- Calculates and books Accruals & Prepaids
- Is responsible for Fixed Assets accounting
- Identifies and solves common cross-process (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury) issues
- Prepares financial statements according to US GAAP
- Supports internal & external audit
- Recommends and implements process improvements ideas
