We are currently looking for an experienced Hydrocarbon Accountant to join our Team. We are Technical Asset Operations (TAO) which aims to develop central, competitive capabilities delivering end-to-end value through the AMS (Asset Management System) work processes as an integral part of our Downstream Manufacturing (DS-M), Integrated Gas & New Energies (IGNE), and Upstream (UP) asset teams. TAO supports the business worldwide and often does so together with the deep capability of our Project & Technology (P&T), Information Technology (IT), and Finance & Data Operations (FO-Data) partners.

What’s a role?

Hydrocarbon System and Compliance (HS&C) is part of HCA (Hydrocarbon Allocation) team that is responsible for the delivery of timely and accurate Measurement and Allocation volumes of all produced hydrocarbon from assets.

More specifically, your role includes:

  • Takes ownership of the delivery of the services provided by the team in Chennai and Krakow to the Production Performance & Benchmarking team (Operations, HCA support & EC support).

  • Accurately account for and report of production and sales of hydrocarbon produced from assets. To maximize Hydrocarbon value and protect the Right to Operate for assets.

  • Ensure that the Operations Team in Chennai and Krakow works efficiently and closely with all PPB Assets focal points in different areas, including but not limited to data handling in Energy Components(NOV), Quarterly Appraisal, Data Quality checks, Weekly Production reports, Deferment reports. (eg, Integrated Loss Management.

  • Responsible for daily pipeline nomination, daily & monthly allocation for assets.

We are looking for candidates who have a bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in Mechanical/ Industrial/ Production/Power Engineering, or Accounting we'd hope to see as many following as possible on You CV:

  • Minimum 2+ years of direct industry experience in Oil Production Accounting and Revenue cycle. Specific experience working with Oil & gas plants will be an asset.

  • Working knowledge of the Enhanced Production Audit Program (EPAP) will be an asset.

  • Strong analytical skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills are required in both Written & Verbal form.

  • Experience in designing and communicating MI (reports) for all operational activities.

  • English B2/C1.

  • Strong Technical Knowledge.

  • Excellent Stakeholder skills.

  • Excellent Business Communication.
