Legal Information System Support (LISS) is the central support operations team for all of the Legal departments / end users, delivering cost effective, high quality day-to-day training and support for Legal information systems, including but not exclusively, Legals Core Application suite Metratech - Team Connect, Ticketing System, SharePoint, Legal World and Legal Document Management System (LDMS).

LISS is instrumental in ensuring up-time and support of all of Legals core application once in production and plays a significant role will rolling out new systems.

What is the role?


Operations and support for the Legal Departments Core Applications

  • Governance, design, operations systems abilities – with Ticketing systems (ServiceNow) and SharePoint Management.

  • LDMS Management - Search, Standardising Language, Categorizing, Assessment, Permissions etc.

  • Defining best practices and serve as a business partner for use of Office 365 offerings, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, O365 Groups and Teams.

  • Train on and support Ticketing System Applications.

  • Maintain relationships with the stakeholders and stay apprised of latest collaboration technologies.

  • Develop and document operations processes and procedures for Office 365.

  • Creating Sites and Libraries for Sharepoint online.

  • Permission / Metadata Management for Sharepoint online.

  • Provide general End-User training.

  • Help troubleshoot end-user issues and escalate to the appropriate support teams and follow up closely till resolution.

  • Interface with direct IT team, supporting Legal Document Management System.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Support and provide guidance to site owners and staff regarding classification, protection and sharing of confidential information and use of appropriate and approved tools.

  • Follow-up on IM compliance reporting and help remediate issues

  • Assist and educate individuals and teams on IM compliance requirements

  • Ensure that sites have assigned site owners who understand their roles.

  • Respond to and co-ordinate response to issues from site reviews, incidents, compliance reporting & audits.

  • Support and provide guidance to site owners and staff regarding identification and declaration of records.

  • Ensure that contributors to a site are aware of the records held in the site and the responsibilities to identify and declare those records.

Experience & qualification:

  • Strong knowledge of and/or experience with the assigned business.

  • Strong in written and spoken English (min. C1 level).

  • Experience with 0365 at intermediate level.

  • Basic coding knowledge (HTML/CSS) is a plus.

  • ServiceNow experience is a plus.

  • iManage expertise is a plus.

  • Have a passion for information management and IT.

  • Strong time management skills and multi-tasking capabilities.

  • Well-developed written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to pro-actively create a strong sense of community and team working

  • Ability to prioritize workload and ensure critical activities are recognized, given priority and are delivered against deadlines.

  • Ability to work in rapidly changing environment.

  • Strong engagement skills, working with team at all levels on regular basis.

  • Ability to work virtually and engage and collaborate with stakehoders in a virtual environment.
