Your role
Do you have a sharp eye for detail? Are you known for your technical skills? We’re looking for someone like that to help us in:
- supervising the team on a daily basis
- calculating cash and holding positions, post cash and stock transactions
- monitoring and processing of mandatory corporate action and income events on a daily basis
- ensuring that queries, exceptions and event reconciliation discrepancies are investigated and resolved
- working effectively with the team towards achieving business goals
- Maintaining personal/professional development to meet the changing demands of the role
- Providing operational oversight and serve as an escalation point for any Corporate Action related matters
- Ensuring sufficient communication of Corporate Action and Dividend events is maintained with our internal departments to enable them to assist with client queries
- will take part in the process tests, improvements and all technical actions involved into the Corporate Actions and Income Processing processes
Your team
You will work within the Corporate Actions and Income Processing Team in Wroclaw or Krakow. Team is responsible for research and maintenance of Corporate Actions and Income Processing in the EMEA and US region, with a view to collecting Portfolio Managers’ responses, reflecting them in systems, instructing the custodians, posting cash and stock transactions in our accounting system and reconciling positions.
Working hours fall between 8:00 and 18:00 on a rotation basis (8:00 - 16:30; 9:30 - 18:00).
Your expertise
You have:
- Experience of corporate action management / operational experience
- Previous client service experience and a strong ability to interact with and support client requirements
- Responsibility for what you say and do
- Analytical and quantitative aptitude
- Adaptability to learn new tasks and demonstrate a willingness to understand the detail of a process.
- Control focused
- Understanding of process flows: Ability to look at the overall process and explain it to others
- Technical skills are a big asset
You are:
- very good in written and spoken English
- able to work as a supervisor of a team
- comfortable in prioritizing workload and working under pressure, with tight deadlines
