Product Stewardship (PS) IT is the central tool that enables product HSSE regulatory compliance for Shell. Compliance is critically dependent on the integrity of the data that are maintained in our IT applications. Failure to meet product regulatory requirements can result in fines and damage to Shell’s reputation.

The Global Lead Analyst OneSDS is the focal point for the OneSDS system, a Shell-wide tool to manage Safety Data Sheets across our sites.

• Supporting a global network of OneSDS site focal points with managing local site Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) documentation.

• Initiating and managing any system enhancements required by changes in business requirements. Leading the implementation of projects.

• Escalating any system policy change requirements, resource issues and technical matters around deployment, interfaces, upgrades and required changes.

• Actively seeking feedback from system users and publishing and leading activities on improvements, applying Continuous Improvement methodology.

• Providing training and communication to stakeholders in field operations

• Managing the alignment between the SAP application and Shell’s internal trading systems

• Skilled in using SAP, preferably the SAP Environmental, Health, and Safety Management (EHS) package.

• Ability to manage a complex set of stakeholders across many different sites and cultures, virtually

• Strong problem-solving capacities in data and IT domain/Ability to translate business requirements into tangible IT Solutions

• Strong communication and training skills

• Experience in using Alteryx, Spotfire, PowerBI software packages, or willingness to develop in this area

• Affinity with HSSE and an understanding of the contents of Safety Data Sheets

• Fluent English for both spoken and written communication.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Access, etc., is highly desirable.
