Finance Projects and Processes Analyst | Cracow

Purpose of the role:
- Contributing to process improvements and automation within the Finance Department
- Supporting implementation of finance key projects
- Coordinating and advising on process improvement initiatives
- Analyzing finance processes and architecting solutions
What you’ll do:
- Providing various tools for improvements mainly in MS Excel and SharePoint
- Writing complex Excel VBA macros, designing Excel templates and worksheets
- Providing Excel trainings
- Identifying potential improvements, time savers, and best practices
- Liaising with team members/ improvement’s stakeholders to define their needs
- Coordinating continuous improvement initiatives in Finance Department
- Writing SQL queries, working experience with SQL tools/interfaces (IBM’s Showcase)
- Gathering knowledge and resources necessary for improvements implementation
- Sharing knowledge within the team and Finance Department
- Initiating and participating in Finance projects and initiatives
- Providing emergency service in case of unexpected issues/requests
- Providing improvements continuity to follow system change
What you’ll need:
- At least 2-3 years working in a finance environment
- Practical knowledge of VBA is required
- Advanced Excel and SQL query knowledge is required
- Knowledge of Power Query Editor would be a significant asset
- Experience with Office 365 Applications (Power Automate, Power BI, Power Apps) and Alteryx would be an asset
- Knowledge of SharePoint solutions would be an asset
- Master Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline would be an asset
- Experience in process improvement
- Experience of working as a part of a team, contributing, and sharing best practices/knowledge / resources and ideas
- Commitment and proactive attitude, ability to cooperate with team members and key stakeholders
