Your role

Are you an experienced people manager with knowledge in risk management? Do you know how to bring out the best in everyone? We are looking for someone like you who:

• supervises, effectively manages and develops a local, multi-functional team of 12 employees
• supports, guides, motivates and coaches employees to develop a constructive mind-set to achieve objectives and performance goals
• liaises, collaborates and coordinates with the team members’ functional line managers in Switzerland, facilitating remote and cross-cultural collaboration
• ensures all activities are in compliance with the company's internal policies and procedures including human resources policies
• performs in an agile environment

Your team

You will be working in the Business Risk Management Switzerland team, located in Wroclaw and Krakow. The team is collaborating directly with colleagues in UBS Switzerland AG in Zurich and provides extensive professional support in risk management, risk framework, development and implementation of the access control framework and review, and in advising and cooperating with our partners on strategic projects. Your job is preferably located at the UBS office in Wroclaw, but Krakow is also possible. We are open for hybrid working solutions as well.

Your expertise

You have:

• degree in economics, finance, business administration or similar discipline
• experience in the financial industry, ideally in an agile environment
• previous experience in a similar leadership position and proven ability to lead mid-sized, matrix-organized teams
• strong problem solving skills and ability to drive organizational change
• well-structured with a target-oriented way of working and can-do attitude
• very good knowledge of MS Office

You are:

• adaptable with great interpersonal skills
• able to build and maintain strong relationships with business partners and senior management
• well-structured with a target-oriented way of working and can-do attitude
• fluent in English and German
