In this role, you have the opportunity to:

Prioritize and drive performance improvements that will have the biggest overall impact on the business results and on delivering operational excellence to Customers, by challenging the status quo, coaching, and embedding a mindset of Continuous improvement to achieve performance excellence.

You are responsible for:

  • Design, develop, and implement the lean improvement roadmap linked to the Market strategic priorities.
  • Deliver impactful results tied to Business priorities through the application of Continuous Improvement, Lean methodologies, with sustainable behavioral change to ensure long term competitive advantage.
  • Drive and execute business strategies, transformation and improvement projects by working with key stakeholders from various internal partners.
  • Support the business in resolving issues, using the known lean and 6S tools and the CI methodology, Kaizen events. Ensure Kaizen events, 6S projects are properly planned / executed /sustained.
  • Asses key business metrics and situations from a “Market Leader's” point of view and engage with the MT and middle managers helping them identifying opportunities where lean, 6S and CI tools can be used to improve such metrics and situations.
  • Drive Lean trainings to ensure CI methodology and culture spread across Market organization.
  • Coach team members, peers and management on the consistent Lean behaviors.
  • Engage in ongoing professional growth and skill development through certifications and learning opportunities offered at Philips.

You are a part of

The Business Transformation Team within CEER Market organization. The team provides Continuous Improvement support to the Market organization, with the intent to drive the Lean mindset shift, improve processes and ultimately provide more added value to our Customers.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

  • Degree in Business or Engineering required; Master's Degree preferred.
  • At least 8 years relevant working experience in a global operating company in a regional or global role.
  • Be capable to drive change with sense of urgency and bias for action.
  • Deep understanding of Lean, Continuous Improvement and Philips Excellence Practices.
  • Multi-function CI experience in multi-location lean deployments.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to influence.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Coaching skills, ability to operate in a highly matrix structure.
  • Training and Facilitation competencies, paired with excellent time and project management skills.
  • Comfortable engaging with associates at all levels of the organization (from shop floor to boardroom).
  • Ability to generate enthusiasm with colleagues on Lean methodology as a business necessity.
  • Ability to work in a challenging, continuously evolving international environment.
