The role holder will report to GDS ECG Senior manager and will work closely with various internal stakeholders and will be primarily responsible for assisting GDS ECG Senior manager in managing the team, Stakeholders and providing end-to-end legal support including compliance and client management to the global EY Law network.

The opportunity

The candidate would be managing the team, stakeholders and taking care of the compliance deliverables for multiple jurisdictions along with supporting the leadership on various technology initiatives.

Skills and attributes for success

• Ability to understand and interpret the relevant regulations and apply the same to the work situation
• Strong project management skills - ability to multi-task across a variety of projects and activities
• Solid research and analytical skills – ability to “see” the complexities of procedures and regulations

To qualify for the role you must have

• Qualified Company Secretary
• 8 - 9 years relevant experience in a reputable MNC/ Big4 / Law firm or working with a practising Company Secretary.
• Exposure to multi-jurisdiction laws is an added advantage.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping;
• A strong proficiency in working across the various Microsoft office tools (word, excel, PowerPoint);
• Proactive and motivated across all aspects of teaming and execution of work;
• Willingness to stretch and work under pressure, as and when required to do so;
