The Europe West Reporting & Analytics (EW R&A) team is seeking for a Reporting Specialist to support the central Finance team in their task to provide excellent client service to key stakeholders and business partners within all 25 countries.

The opportunity

You will be part of the EW R&A team and support us in our reporting strategy to offer centralized solutions for 25 countries within EW. You be part of cross-country project groups to design new reports, especially in Power BI or help to improve existing report, which help our internal clients to get the right insights.

Your key responsibilities

• You further develop and improve our reporting strategy
• You design new or improve existing reports, dashboards including data visualization, especially in Power BI
• You are contact person for ad hoc reports or special analysis
• You connect with product end users to understand their business needs
• You are able to extract, transform and consolidate data from different sources
• You support internal R&A projects in closed collaboration with other Finance teams
• You will be part of various local and global expert reporting networks which coordinate end user requests, the development and testing of new reports, defect management and many other processes around reporting
• You will help socialize, make aware and adopt solutions developed by the Central R&A Team, focus on missing solutions and communicate them to Central

Skills and attributes for success

• Knowledge in SQL and Analysis Services (Cubes)
• Experience in workflow automation, like Power Automate or other applications
• Knowledge to integrate data from different data sources
• Strong communication skills and ability to communicate financial information across a wide range of users
• Passion for data, processes, reporting and analysis with the ability to grow
• Translate business needs into product requirement specifications

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Preferred candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration or similar combined with 2 to 4 years of relevant work experience in a finance capacity – preferably in an international organization or a professional services firm
• Written and oral fluency in English required

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Strong project and time management skills, with ability to prioritize and work under pressure
• Advanced Excel (experience in VBA) and Power BI will be a distinct advantage
• Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage
