The team you will be joining is a part of State Street Global Services (SSGS). SSGS Global Delivery (GD). GD gives asset owners and managers access to the essential financial tools they need to deliver effective investment solutions. From core custody, accounting, fund administration and shareholder recordkeeping, to complete operations solutions and servicing for alternative assets like OTC derivatives, private equity and real estate, GD’ tools help our clients make better investment choices and act on growth opportunities.

What you will be responsible for:

As Senior Associate you will:

  • Experience with securities lending related set up and ability to work EMEA hrs

  • Take initiative to participate and/ or lead targeted projects as needed

  • Take direction from others to complete assigned tasks

  • Assist in the remediation of client service issues through closure

  • Continuously develop knowledge of core products, process, financial markets, technology, regulatory obligations and operating model changes; understand impact to your role and responsibilities

What we value:

These skills will help you succeed in this role:

  • Basic understanding of Accounting, Custody, Fund Administration

  • Basic understanding of Sub-Custody and International Markets, Securities, Cash Transaction Processing protocols, knowledge of global market processing requirements

  • Ability to work with large amounts of data, working knowledge of Microsoft tools

  • The candidate must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Requires strong analytical skills, the ability to prioritize and must have solid time management skills

  • The candidate must have strong interpersonal skills to be able to interact with Senior Management of State Street Corporation

  • Experience with conversion or transformation projects is preferable

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree - undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, with a strong academic background.

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in Financial Services Industry
