CNC Operator/Machine Setter - Initially On job training in Freiburg Germany then back to Skawina

Skawina

First 6 months of this role will be spent in Selzach in Switzerland, after training the individual will relocate to Skawina in Poland on a permanent contract.

What you will do

  • Execute assigned Process development elements with an emphasis on manufacturing systems and technical documentation required to define and specify new manufacturing processes.
  • Provide Technical support for new process introductions, ensuring that all activities are completed and documented in accordance with the Stryker new product development procedures.
  • Ensure quality of process and product as defined in the appropriate operation and material specifications.
  • Support Project and Process Engineers on the development of manufacturing and/or inspection process flows as well as on executing DOE, DFM/DFI activities.
  • Manage the development, definition and execution of Process related activities such as CNC, CAD/CAM and/or CMM programming and execute the associated qualification and validation activities.
  • Execute Equipment installation and related validation activities.
  • Profound onboarding and training of colleagues.
  • Ensure adherence to GMP and safety procedures.
  • Independent conduction of complex root-cause-analysis according, assessment and problem solving, programming to troubleshoot.
  • Lead projects, best practice-sharing.

Must have

  • In-depth knowledge of relevant tools/technical equipment and processes.
  • Application of lean and continuous improvement process tools.
  • Very good CNC programming skills.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time if necessary.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 kg if necessary.
  • Good communication style and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work successfully in a team that places a high value on quality and performance requirements as well as interdepartmental collaboration.
  • Ability to interpret relevant documentation.
  • (Higher) technical (vocational) training, e.g. technician, master craftsman or comparable, as well as appropriate specialist training or comparable further training.
  • Polish B2 mandatory; English/ German A2.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications - Outlook, Excel and Word.
