CNC Operator/Machine Setter - Initially On job training in Freiburg Germany then back to Skawina

First 6 months of this role will be spent in Selzach in Switzerland, after training the individual will relocate to Skawina in Poland on a permanent contract.
What you will do
- Execute assigned Process development elements with an emphasis on manufacturing systems and technical documentation required to define and specify new manufacturing processes.
- Provide Technical support for new process introductions, ensuring that all activities are completed and documented in accordance with the Stryker new product development procedures.
- Ensure quality of process and product as defined in the appropriate operation and material specifications.
- Support Project and Process Engineers on the development of manufacturing and/or inspection process flows as well as on executing DOE, DFM/DFI activities.
- Manage the development, definition and execution of Process related activities such as CNC, CAD/CAM and/or CMM programming and execute the associated qualification and validation activities.
- Execute Equipment installation and related validation activities.
- Profound onboarding and training of colleagues.
- Ensure adherence to GMP and safety procedures.
- Independent conduction of complex root-cause-analysis according, assessment and problem solving, programming to troubleshoot.
- Lead projects, best practice-sharing.
Must have
- In-depth knowledge of relevant tools/technical equipment and processes.
- Application of lean and continuous improvement process tools.
- Very good CNC programming skills.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time if necessary.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 kg if necessary.
- Good communication style and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work successfully in a team that places a high value on quality and performance requirements as well as interdepartmental collaboration.
- Ability to interpret relevant documentation.
- (Higher) technical (vocational) training, e.g. technician, master craftsman or comparable, as well as appropriate specialist training or comparable further training.
- Polish B2 mandatory; English/ German A2.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications - Outlook, Excel and Word.
