Purpose of the role:

The Global Outbound Treasury Solutions team investigates and develops new and innovative methods for paying bonuses to ABOs globally. The team implements these solutions through strong market partnerships, effective execution, and communication both inside and outside of the Company and with global/regional leadership. This is one of the most direct impacts that you will be able to have on our ABOs.

What you’ll do:
  • Assist in research and investigation of new and innovative ways of paying ABO bonuses that increase satisfaction for the ABOs, as well as increase efficiency for Amway by reducing friction within the system
  • Discuss ABO Outbound payment solution requirements with the local Affiliate (for example: what are the gaps, challenges, and requests from the ABOs)
  • Assist in providing a list of ABO Outbound payment options, including eWallets, for each market and obtain agreement from various teams
  • Assist in establishing meetings between Tech, GBS, Commercial Finance, and the Service Provider for ABO outbound payments to determine which options, including eWallets, would be compatible with our systems and would help drive efficiencies with the ABOs
  • Assist in managing Vendor Payment Service Providers for contracting, relationship management, budget management, and solution generation
  • Assist in creating a backup plan to support eWallets in case of payment disruption / Sourcing banks for a backup bonus payment
  • Assist the GBS, Technology, and Commercial Finance teams in developing a seamless reconciliation process
What you’ll need:
  • 1-3 years of experience in Accounting /Finance
  • Academic degree in Accounting /Finance or related area
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, knowledge of Spanish would be an asset
  • Ability to work under pressure and focus on results
  • Ability to deal with key stakeholders in the enterprise
  • Managing multiple priorities: Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation
  • Continuous building proficiency in the following area:
  1. Interpret data: Ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material
  2. Communicate financial information: Effectively communicating and presenting complex financial data (both verbally and written) to influence all levels and global audiences
  3. Relationship management: Ability to develop and maintain effective and productive relationships, including the ability to understand, support and/or influence the clients, vendors, and peers
  4. Knowledge of the business: Knowledge of the business and the key internal and external drivers that affect the business, including financial, political, and industry trends
  5. Consulting: Ability to effectively provide technical or business guidance to clients, both internal and external; knowledge of applicable tools and techniques to maximize consulting effectiveness
  6. Critical Thinking: Ability to formulate conclusions and recommendations using facts and data, financial and business analysis, deductive reasoning, and sound judgment
