If you have experience in call centers, contact centers, customer service, sales or hospitality, and have always wanted to work in travel, you may be perfect for our program. We’ll prepare you with all the training and tools you need to be a successful full-time travel consultant.
Travel consultants are the heart of our organization at Amex GBT, providing best-in-class service to our corporate travel clients. You’ll learn how to use industry standard booking systems (Global Distribution Systems / GDS) and resolve customer inquiries over the phone, e-mail and chat.
This position is virtual, with an optional 2-week onsite training in Warsaw.
What You’ll Do
- Participate travel curriculum, where you’ll learn everything you need to know about corporate travel and our industry
- Learn about the products and services Amex GBT provides, including our end-to-end travel booking process
- Experience our hands-on practice environment
- At the end of the paid training program, we’ll help you transition to your full-time role as a travel consultant
What We’re Looking For
- Fluency in both English and German
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Highly proficient in computer skills including basic trouble shooting and confident in navigating new software platforms
- Experience in customer service, sales, call centers, or hospitality (1+ years) with extensive customer interaction
- Passionate about elite customer service (calm and courteous)
- Must have a quiet, secure home office space, free from noise and interruption
