About the role:
As the International Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and supervision a team. You plan, direct, supervise and evaluate work flows and coordinate work activities to achieve the goals expected and to meet operational requirements. You will be at the forefront of managing and optimizing the order to cash process from order processing up to logistics and customer care. Your leadership and ability to foster collaboration will be instrumental in achieving success for the organization. This role will be end-to-end responsible for a seamless process execution in alignment with global standards. You will be acting as liaison between various functions on global/regional level, external service providers and internal stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide leadership for the team, setting clear objectives aligned with company goals.
- Oversee daily tasks, set performance targets, and conduct evaluations.
- Streamline customer service processes for efficiency.
- Ensure accurate and complete import/export documentation.
- Maintain strong relationships with customs brokers and service providers.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to import/export operations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for process optimization.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration across departments.
About you:
- Degree: Business Administration, Logistic or similar.
- Experience: 5-7 years in supply chain and/or import/export logistics.
- Transport and regulatory knowledge, familiarity with international transportation regulations, In-depth understanding of logistics processes and import/export management.
- Proficiency in English skills.
- Highly motivated and independent.
- Being open to change, flexible in response to new situations, and resilient in the face of challenges.
- People-centric leadership style.
- Experience managing virtual teams.
- Proficient in SAP.
- Knowledge of MS/Google Office Suite and Power BI.
