YOUR ROLE

Professionals help to protect an organization by employing a range of Security tools and technologies and processes to prevent, detect and manage cyber threats.

YOUR TASKS

A SOC (Security Operations Center) analyst monitors security alerts and logs in real time to detect and respond to potential threats. They investigate suspicious activity, perform initial triage, and escalate incidents when necessary. Additionally, they maintain and tune security tools, document incidents, and contribute to improving the organization’s overall security posture.

YOUR PROFILE

  • At least 2-5 years of working in the SOC
  • In-depth knowledge of security concepts such as cyber-attacks and techniques, threat vectors, risk management, incident management etc.
  • Familiarity with GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001
  • Proactive search for threats using hypotheses
  • Use of IOCs, TTPs, and behavioral analytics
  • Root cause analysis and pattern recognition
  • Writing complex correlation rules and dashboards
  • Writing incident reports and timelines
  • Correlating logs across systems (Windows, Linux, firewalls, cloud)
  • Following and improving incident response playbooks
