Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in accounting area,
• knowledge of SAP or Yardi system will be a huge asset,
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting or certificate in finance such as SWKP,
• knowledge of German GAAP will be huge asset,
• high business culture and communication skills,
• analytical attitude combined with an orientation to details,
• willingness to take challenges and new solutions,
• fluent in English (at least B2) and German (at least B2).

Responsibilities

• independent bookkeeping for property-owning companies in Germany (using SAP FI, Yardi, etc.),
• preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual closings,
• posting incoming invoices, accruals, and provisions,
• handling outgoing payments,
• classifying and posting incoming and outgoing payments,
• preparing reports needed for German VAT declarations,
• posting tenant receivables, accruals, and re-invoicing,
• working with tax advisors, financial controllers, and client accounting teams.
