Immigration Specialist– Hybrid (Krakow) 192,000 PLN

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Immigration Specialist with a sound proven knowledge of the requirements for living and working in Polandto join our TTEC team, delivering a best-in-class employee experience.

Your role will be far from one-dimensional; you will be switched on, hardworking and ambitious. You will be responsible for ensuring we hire new employees efficiently together and ensuring contractual changes through the employee life-cycle are completed in line with legislation.

This is a brand new role for the team in Poland so you will have the ability to design and implement new processes, coach team members and managers on understanding legislation and mange the framework for all internal matters relating to living and working in Poland.

As a person you get enjoyment and satisfaction out of making things run smoothly and ‘making things happen’. This is a hands-on role. You will be involved with many different departments of the business, have conflicting priorities and excellent organisation and diplomacy skills. You must be comfortable working in a constantly moving and changing environment.

The Immigration Specialist will work with many different teams to include recruitment, legal, operations and the wider People and Culture team.

Your goal is to ensure that we consistently deliver a great employee experience and support others on this journey. You will be ensuring things run smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization as a whole. Responsibilities:

  • Support the business on people matters, primarily through our ticketing system.
  • Work Closely with our external legal vendor on complex cases.
  • Providing administrative and logistical support to include the preparation and submission of immigration applications/ supporting documents.
  • Verification of formal correctness and completeness of submitted documents.
  • Maintain compliance with local employment laws and regulations.
  • Assisting foreign nationals through immigrations processes for right to live and work in Poland.
  • Coach team leaders/ managers and wider PaC teams on legislation and process changes affecting right to live and work in Poland.
  • Manage student verifications for new hires and current employees.
  • Creation, signing, delivery and filing of employee documentation.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate update of employee data.
  • Ensure leavers are processed correctly and authorities notified where and when needed.
  • Take on additional ad hoc duties and administrative tasks to support the wider team.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A thorough understanding of the rights for living and working in Poland to include a good understanding of the types of resident permits and Work Permits, to include exceptions.
  • To be a team player so as to enable the team to Act as One
  • Solid proven immigration experience working in a fast-paced role,.
  • Experience of using HR systems and MS Office.
  • Be a quick learner.
  • Adapt styles to meet the needs of the work and stakeholders.
  • Always Seek to Understand when in doubt.
  • Be seen as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees on ALL people matters.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Be employee centric and always be seen to Do the Right Thing.
