Renewals Specialist with German
What will you do:
- Lead the end-to-end customer renewal process, ensuring successful closure and alignment with business targets
- Identify and qualify opportunities, converting leads into a strong revenue pipeline
- Drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities by understanding customer needs across industries and segments
- Analyze customers’ current Microsoft licensing landscape and position cloud solutions to maximize value
- Communicate Microsoft’s value proposition and effectively address competitive solutions
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Partner Connection Managers, to ensure smooth opportunity handover
- Achieve and exceed revenue and pipeline targets, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
What we expect:
- 1+ years of experience in sales or lead generation, preferably within Azure Cloud or similar technologies
- Proven track record in inside sales and consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Strong understanding of sales processes, including renewals (upcoming, late, and contract-based)
- Ability to identify customer needs, build relationships, and position value-driven solutions
- Experience working with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce) and strong proficiency in MS Office
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English and German (minimum C1 level)
- Strong phone presence and ability to manage high-volume outreach activities
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment
- Strong interest in sales, technology, and supporting customer growth
Preferred skills:
- Experience in the software industry, such as IT systems, infrastructure, application development, security, or analytics
- Knowledge of Microsoft Cloud services and products; Microsoft licensing knowledge is a strong advantage
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales and activity targets
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to proactively communicate with clients and identify opportunities to improve their use.
