For our Client, international manufacturing company, we are seeking a Senior GL Accountant (Junior to Senior level, depending on experience), fluent in English or German, to take full responsibility for the German entity’s general ledger accounting.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Finance, Accounting, or a related field,
- strong understanding of finance and accounting principles form GL side,
- minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting for a production entity will be huge plus,
- at least 4 years of overall professional accounting experience,
- excellent analytical skills and strong business acumen,
- demonstrates high levels of integrity and ethical standards,
- English fluency (at least B2 level) or German proficiency (B2 level) is a plus, but not mandatory,
- knowledge of MS Dynamics is a plus, but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- ensure accurate accounting for the production entity,
- manage end-to-end month-end closing processes,
- assist in drafting the financial statements,
- reconcile and post intercompany balances in the ERP system,
- perform day-to-day journal entries and reconcile GL/FA accounts,
- supervise and collaborate with AR, AP, and Treasury teams,
- coordinate with internal and external auditors,
- support monthly and quarterly reporting, including managerial P&L reviews,
- reconcile payroll balances and record related entries in ERP,
- prepare statistical reports for German authorities,
- document existing processes and update SOPs,
- generate ad-hoc reports as needed.
