For our Client, a Global Business Services specialised in the service sector, we are looking for candidates for the position of (Senior) GL Accountant with Romanian, who will participate in a transition project, as well as supporting the standardization and automation of financial processes.

Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in GL area or simmilar,
- knowledge of SAP system will be a huge asset,
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting or certificate in finance,
- in-depth knowledge of GL processes,
- high business culture and communication skills,
- analytical attitude combined with an orientation to details,
- willingness to take challenges and new solutions,
- fluent in English (at least B2) and Romanian (at least B2),
- experience in migration processes and project improvement will be a huge asset.
Responsibilities
- handling general ledger activities such as accruals, provisions, revaluations,
- performing month-end closing activities,
- checking the correctness of invoices and their correction,
- reconciliation of account balances,
- support in SOX and internal control environment,
- support in the preparation of financial statements and other ad-hoc reports,
- analyzing balance sheet (BS), profit & loss (P&L) figures and variance,
- first-line contact and support concerning RTR/GL queries,
- participatation in knowledge tranbsfer and supporting the automation and standardization of finance processes,
close cooperatataion with local market.
